石川県七尾市の矢田郷地区コミュニティセンター避難所へ、枕と枕カバーをお届けしました。

矢田郷コミュニティセンター避難所には、2024年3月28日時点で約100人の被災者が身を寄せています。
一時的な避難所のため、敷きパッドや毛布、掛ふとんはなんとかなっていますが枕がなく、滞在の長期化に伴い要望が出ていました。

商品は七尾市の寝具店「ムーミンなかがわ」で購入。中川久雄さんが2024年3月28日に届けてくれました。
中川さんご夫妻も被災していますが、奮起して早々にお店を再開しています。

We've delivered pillows and pillow cases to Yatago Area Community Center evacuation shelter.

As of March 28, 2024, approximately 100 disaster victims were taking refuge at the Yadago Community Center evacuation shelter. While temporary accommodations for items like sleeping pads, blankets, and quilts have been secured, pillows were lacking, and requests for them had been increasing as the shelter stay extended.

The pillows were purchased from "Moomin Nakagawa," a bedding store in Nanao City. Mr. Nakagawa delivered them on March 28, 2024.
Mr. and Mrs. Nakagawa are also victims of the disaster, but they have shown great resilience in promptly reopening their store.

カップヌードルやインスタント味噌汁などの食品を、石川県鳳珠郡穴水町の避難所「あゆみの里」へお届けしました。

あゆみの里は高齢者福祉施設ですが、2024年4月22日時点で9世帯の能登半島地震による避難者が暮らしています。

商品の配達は2回で、2024年3月25日分は穴水町の酒・食料品店「七海屋」で購入、4月22日分は鳳珠郡能登町で再開しているドラッグストア、シメノドラッグで購入し、両日ともAidShop.orgのスタッフが配達しました。

We have delivered food items such as cup noodles and instant miso soup to the Ayuminosato evacuation shelter in Anamizu Town, Hosu District, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Ayuminosato is an elderly welfare facility, but as of April 22, 2024, 9 households displaced by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake are living there.

The goods were delivered in two batches: the March 25, 2024 batch was purchased at the Anamizu Town liquor and grocery store "Shitsumiya," and the April 22 batch was purchased at Shimeno Drug, a drugstore that has reopened in Noto Town, Hosu District. Both deliveries were made by AidShop.org staff.

The lunches were purchased by supporters of the evacuees and delivered by staff from "Shufu no Mise," a local food shop known for its affordable and delicious meals.
The staff at Shufu no Mise were also affected by the disaster, but they still took the time to personally deliver the lunches to the evacuees.

As of April 17, there were approximately 72 evacuees staying at the Yatago Community Center. This number is expected to decrease gradually as temporary housing becomes available.

Work gloves were delivered to the Anamizu-machi Volunteer Center in Anamizu Town, Hōsui District, Ishikawa Prefecture, for use by volunteers and others.

The first delivery of gloves was purchased at Komeri in Anamizu Town on March 24, 2024, and delivered directly by AidShop.org staff. The second delivery was made on April 13, 2024, by Junichi Mizuguchi of Attackman Mizuguchi, the store where the gloves were purchased.

The Anamizu Volunteer Center is operated by the Anamizu Town Social Welfare Council and is bustling with volunteers from both inside and outside the town.

In March 2011, Japan's Tohoku region was struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The affected areas were filled with people who had lost their families, homes, towns, and jobs. However, support in the form of money and relief supplies poured in from all over Japan and around the world.
In April 2011, when I visited the town of Rikuzentakata in Iwate pref., which was particularly hard-hit, I witnessed situations where the support materials sent from various places were mismatched, difficult to organize, or had high shipping costs relative to the value of the items.
On the other hand, many of the individuals providing support seemed to be anxious about how their donated money or goods were being utilized.
Therefore, in May 2011, I established "Fukkoichiba". That is an online shopping site where you can purchase support supplies from local stores in the disaster-stricken areas and have them delivered. When you purchase items listed on the site, the mechanism ensures that the struggling local businesses in the affected areas prepare the goods and deliver them to the victims in need. This system, where a single donation helps both the store and the victims, was well-received by many people. Over the five years since its establishment, Fukkoichiba has been able to deliver approximately 250 million yen worth of support supplies and generate an equivalent amount in sales to the disaster-affected areas.
As the operator, I had temporarily suspended the operations while witnessing the gradual recovery of Japan's Tohoku region. However, upon observing conflicts such as natural disasters and wars occurring somewhere in the world, I have decided to relaunch the reconstruction marketplace under a new name. The new website is this "AidShop.org."

2011年3月に日本の東北地方を襲った東日本大震災。被災地には、家族、家、町、仕事を失った人があふれ、しかしそこには日本中から、あるいは世界中から、お金や支援品が集まりました。
2011年4月に、特に被害が大きかった岩手県陸前高田市へ行った私は、方々から送られてくる支援物資が、すこし的外れだったり、バラバラで整理がしにくかったり、物品の金額に対して送料が大きすぎるといった状況を目にしました。
一方で、被災地支援をする人、したい人の多くは、自分たちが寄付したお金や物がどのように使われているか不安を感じているようでした。
そこで私は、2011年5月に「復興市場」を開設しました。復興市場は、被災者への支援物資を被災地にあるお店から購入して届けることができる通販サイトで、サイトに掲載されている商品が購入されると、被災地でがんばっている商店が商品を用意し、求めている被災者へ届ける仕組みでした。1回の寄付がお店と被災者の両方を助けることになる仕組みは多くの人に受け入れられ、開設から5年間で約2億5千万円分の支援物資と、同じ額の売り上げを被災地へ届けることができました。
運営者である私は、日本の東北地方が徐々に復興していくのを見ながらその活動を休止していました。しかし、世界中のどこかで自然災害や戦争などの紛争が起こっているのを見て、このたび、新しい名前で、以前のような取り組みを再稼働することにしました。新しいウェブサイトの名前はエイドショップ（AidShop.org）です。

It has been a long time since we last spoke. Ten years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. While ten years may seem like just a number, and it may not feel like a milestone for those who were affected, I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and say hello.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your understanding and support of Fukkoichiba during its operation. Although I was not personally affected by the disaster, I will never forget how the users of this website supported the people of the affected areas in their own unique ways. I am sure that those who were actually affected and received your support feel the same way.
As someone who simply acted as a bridge for support, I would like to express my gratitude once again. Thank you very much.

According to news reports, there are still 41,241 people who are displaced due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. This means that there are actually many more people who are struggling and suffering.
In addition, many other disasters have occurred in Japan alone in the past 10 years.
I believe that we should always be mindful of those who are in need and help them in any way we can. I hope to stay connected with you all and continue to work together in the future.

東日本大震災の発生から10年が経ちました。
10年はただの数字であり、被災した方たちにとっては区切りにもならないかもしれませんが、すこし挨拶だけさせていただきます。

復興市場の稼働時には、この活動にご理解・ご協力いただきまして本当にありがとうございました。
被災者ではない私ですが、当時このウェブサイトの利用者が思い思いの方法で被災地の方々を応援したことを今も忘れていませんし、これからも忘れることはありません。実際に被災し、皆さんに応援された方たちは、もっとそうだと思います。
間に入って支援の橋渡しをしただけの私からではありますが、あらためて感謝をお伝えします。

報道によると東日本大震災および福島第1原発事故による避難者は現在でも4万1241人おられるそうで、ということは実際にはもっと多くの困っている方、苦しんでいる方がいるということです。
また、この10年の間に、日本国内だけでも、多くの災害が発生しています。
これからも、世の中で誰かが困っていたらそのことを気にして、できることがあれば助けになることができるようにありたいと考えており、今後とも皆さんとつながっていたいと思っています。
